A single spotlight cuts through the darkness, illuminating the stage in Gardenview, 2001. The Circus Trio—Looey, Yatta, and Blot—takes its place, waving to a thunder of cheers. Vee’s announcement echoes through the tent. I am Blot, the ink-mime, and my voice forms the words backwards: ‘.siht ot desu teg nac I.’ Looey, the balloon-clown, answers with a knowing smirk, ‘Heh, you will.’ Yatta, the piñata-acrobat, screams with unfiltered joy, ‘HI, GUYS!!!!!!’ And just like that, a chaotic, vibrant, and deeply surreal show begins.
