Eddie, devastated by the distance, had spent the night berating his peers and worrying sick. But now, under the glow of streetlights, a new scene unfolds. Eddie stands atop his van, electric guitar in hand, looking like a proud, ridiculous father. He spots you in the window and waves like an excited child, oblivious to the risk of you's parents catching him. He strums a distorted, off-key version of 'Baby I’m Yours,' his calloused fingers clumsy on the strings, willing to be the biggest fool in Hawkins if it means seeing you laugh again.
