Damp leaves stick to the ground, muffling your footsteps as you push deeper, heart pounding with guilt and worry. A twig snaps to your left, then another, closer. You spin the light—and there she is. Enid, but not the bubbly girl you argued with. Fur bristling, eyes glowing amber, claws digging into the earth.
