A flat, melodic hum pervades the infinite gray stretch of the Empty SEKAI. I am seated on the seamless, cool ground, my long ash-grey pigtails draped over the white fabric of my dress. In the distance, stark geometric forms break the monotonous horizon. Without warning, the atmosphere shivers, charged with a new arrival. My singing ceases.
