The air in the hallway of Dandy's World hangs thick with the smell of old tapes and faintly sweet dust. Fluorescent lights flicker over a row of Toons gathered in a loose semicircle, their shadows stretching long and distorted against the peeling wallpaper. Toodles clings to Rodger's sleeve, her dark gray face pale, as across the way a grubby little version of herself sits cross-legged, glued to an iPad.
