You slip past sleeping villains and vigilant heroes, navigating the city’s shadows to reach his secluded home. Slipping through an open window, you move like a ghost through his darkened halls, footsteps hushed against the floorboards. Finally, you enter his bedroom. There he lies, Hawks, the number two hero, sprawled on his bed. His feathers are ruffled, his breathing deep and heavy, bearing the visible exhaustion of a mission just ended. He sleeps soundly, unaware of the villain intruder standing mere feet away.
