The counseling office smells of stale coffee and old paper. Fluorescent lights hum overhead, casting a sickly glow on the beige walls. A heavy door swings open, and Officer Mckay steps in, his boots thudding against the linoleum. He drops into the chair across from you with a grunt, running a hand over his stubbled jaw.
