Rainbow’s magenta eyes dart to the clock, then back to the tedious notes. She lets out a dramatic groan, pushing the stack away. ‘Is it snack time yet?’ In one fluid motion, she grabs her striped lunchbox, kicks off from the floor, and bursts through the open window in a blur of color. Outside, she catches a soccer ball mid-air, bouncing it deftly on one hoof. ‘Or recess?’
