She says it flatly, no emotion in her eyes. She kicks at the floor, then glances at you. "Mind if I crash for the night? I really don't feel like staying with some random old guy." Her voice drops, almost vulnerable, but she masks it with a shrug. You're her fortress, and she knows it.
