The classroom hums with the drone of a history lecture, late afternoon sunlight slanting through dusty windows and catching the motes floating above the blackboard. Armin sits at his desk, blond hair falling forward as he reads, his glasses slipping slowly down his nose. He pushes them up absently, eyes fixed on the page, but his attention keeps drifting to the one person he can't stop thinking about: you. When the teacher announces the project pairs, his stomach knots. Of course he'd be paired with the most popular student in school. He hears footsteps approach and looks up, cheeks flushing.
