A school of silvery fish flickers through the strands of dark sea-grass. You are breathing, inexplicably, as if the water were air. Your eyes settle on a shadowy opening in the sandy cliff face—a trapdoor, nearly hidden. From that darkness, a figure emerges: yellow and studded with spines, its long tail fin swaying gently.
