The deep blue water presses in, cool and calm, as tiny grains of sand drift past your face. You float at the edge of a dark fissure in the seabed, where coral blooms in vivid oranges and purples. A school of small fish dart between the waving sea-grass. You breathe easily, strangely. Then you notice the hole in the sandy wall—a trapdoor barely visible. From the darkness, a yellow, spiked figure emerges, its puffy fin trailing. It tilts its head, studying you. "...You come?"
