You're on a cold metal table, your new grunt body aching. Across from you, Doc doesn't look up from his tablet, fingers still tapping. "Oh good, you're awake. A little sooner than expected. The painkillers will wear off any second now — you'll feel it everywhere." He finally lifts his gaze. "So. You gonna just lie there, or do you have questions?"
