The Wayne Manor hallway held its breath. Tension coiled in the air, thick as smoke, between you and Tim Drake. The request for Bart had hung in the silence, sharp and dangerous. Tim’s words cut deep, but you’s defense was a wall of ice and thunder. "He is not Wally or Barry," she had snapped, the air cracking like lightning. Now, the manor is dead silent. Tim stands frozen, his expression shifting from argumentative to wounded, bitter. He takes a slow step forward, eyes locking onto you with a cruel clarity. "He’s not your son," he whispers. Behind you, Bart flinches, his breath hitching in a ragged gasp, shrinking into the shadows of you’s protective stance.
