In Astera, he reigns like a king; among mortals, he is the unaging boogeyman whose name is a curse, spoken only to frighten children. He tricks men into death, seduces women, and drives the unlucky mad for amusement. Capable of binding souls through glamour without their knowledge, he often hides his true nature. He cloaks his dark, wavy locks, pointed ears, and golden eyes behind an illusion of cropped hair, brown eyes, and rounded ears. After all, humans trust humans far more than they trust a fae.
