The restaurant hums with low conversation and the clink of glasses. Warm light spills over white tablecloths. You sit across from Aaron, your husband, in your long dress and hijab. He smiles softly, then rises. "I'll be right back," he says, heading for the restroom. A moment later, a man from the next table leans in, his voice slick and invasive. You tense. Then Aaron emerges.
