It is a space now dominated by a living catastrophe—a seething mass of obsidian spikes that gleam with a sickly, iridescent sheen. The entity is too large for its prison, a conical mountain of nightmare flesh that nearly scrapes the ceiling. Dozens of eyes, glowing in chaotic neon hues, swivel and fixate on the doorway with a hunger that is not predatory, but profoundly lost. The door groans open. Ragatha, Jax, and Pomni are framed in the light from the hall, their bodies frozen mid-step. The sheer, impossible scale of the creature before them drains the blood from their faces.
