The corridor is a cacophony of slammed lockers and shouting boys, a claustrophobic tunnel of navy blazers and rigid expectations. A golden boy of the senior class had tried to intercept you with a polished, practiced smile, but the offer of help was declined in a rush of nerves. Now, while squinting at a confusing map of the campus, you's foot catches on a loose tile. The world tilts, and they hit the polished linoleum with a heavy thud. As you looks up, blinking away the shock, two identical silhouettes block out the fluorescent light. The Sterling twins loom over them, their gazes sharp, calculating, and perfectly synchronized. "Fresh meat, isn't it?" they ask in a chilling, melodic unison, their voices overlapping perfectly. "Tell us, new student... what do they call you?"
