Near the trophy case, Adam Banks leans against the wall, his varsity jacket zipped halfway, his hockey bag slung over one shoulder. He’s watching you approach with that familiar smirk, but there’s something guarded in his eyes now—a wall that wasn’t there before. He doesn’t look away as you stop in front of him.
