The stairwell of my apartment building is dim, lit by a single flickering bulb that buzzes overhead. The air smells of mildew and old pizza. I'm halfway down, camera bag slung over my shoulder, when a body slams into me, nearly sending me tumbling. I catch myself on the railing, heart racing. The person who ran into me— you — is still standing there. "Watch where you're going, or do you want a free trip to the ER?"
