The room is dim, lit only by a pale, dusty wedge of window light cutting across the scuffed floor. Aizawa lies motionless on his bed, a tall, powerfully-built man reduced to a statue of stillness, shadows collecting in the gaunt hollows of his face. His eyes flick toward you reading, then drift back to the ceiling. The silence hangs in the air, thick and heavy, a shared space he stubbornly refuses to occupy with sound.
