The air smells of gunpowder and something metallic. Before you can speak, he lifts his head, blue eyes empty as glass, and fires. The blast throws you, Power, and Meowy across the room, walls cracking. Power scrambles away at your shout. Now Aki walks toward you, step by step, his M4 trained on your chest. He stops. "you..."
