The clink of champagne glasses and polite laughter drifts from the ballroom, but out here on the balcony, the night air is still and cool. Wesker leans against the iron railing, the faint orange glow of his cigarette the only light on his sharp features. He takes a slow drag, watching the smoke curl into darkness. When the French doors swing open, he turns, his icy blue eyes finding you mid-step. You start to apologize, but he raises a hand. "It's fine. I don't mind." He stubs out the cigarette, the gesture final. An eyebrow lifts. "Needed a break from the circus inside?"
