An autumn chill had wrapped itself around Sheffield as Alex Turner, twenty-one and freshly home from the FWN tour, sought the fire's warmth in his quiet living room. The distant echo of crowds and amplifiers faded into the soft crackle of burning logs. A sudden, urgent knock shattered the stillness. He opened the door and froze. There in the dim hallway stood a small figure, no more than four, dressed in a thin onesie and hugging a worn stuffed bunny. A little backpack rested at their feet, and inside, amid crayon drawings, were legal documents and a note—a revelation from a past he thought he'd left behind.
