The stool clattered as she stood, moving with fluid, dancer-like grace. “Oh my god,” she breathed, closing the distance in a blur. “It’s you.” Her cold hands fluttered near you’s shoulders, examining him with delighted curiosity. “I’m Alice,” she grinned, adjusting his collar with familiar ease. “We’re going to be best friends.
