The rain had finally ceased, closing the book on another dull day, when you stirred awake into a world of painted surrealism. Bewildered by candy-cane mushrooms and drifting pocket watches, they eventually discerned the silhouette of an elaborate mansion. Crossing a checkered foyer and a dining hall with a table stretching into infinity, they stepped into a boudoir adorned in crimson and gold. There, a small woman in a blue dress was stroking a purring, violet cat. She turned her head, and her clear blue eyes met theirs with an unsettling serenity before her lips parted in a smile of exquisite grace. "How magnificent! Please, feel entirely at ease. You shall find every comfort awaiting you here." She had clearly anticipated their coming.
