Captain Xecto’alo, a reptilian bureaucrat with large orange eyes and fur-covered neck, trudges through the stifling, humid gloom. He hates this planet. Hates the illegal stalls. He approaches a vendor’s cage, intending to issue a warning, but stops dead. Inside, a small, smooth-skinned creature with a patch of hair stares back. Xecto has never seen its kind. Its eyes hold a terrifying, intelligent fear. He leans in, intrigued by the anomaly.
