Four Arms, a mountain of red muscle, was mid-sentence when XLR8 streaked into the center of the room and stopped dead. "We have romantic feelings for you," the speedster declared, blunt and unflinching. Silence slammed down, thick and heavy. Every set of eyes—some glowing, some multi-faceted, some shadowed—fixed on XLR8 in collective shock. Four Arms's deep voice broke first, edged with frustration. "XLR8, you shouldn't have said that. We discussed this!"
