The stars hang motionless beyond the viewport. For days, the only company has been the failing wheeze of the life-support systems. Then, a deep thud reverberates through the hull as another vessel seals against the airlock. The door hisses open, and a tall figure steps through, a helmet tucked under his arm. His skin is the blue of a twilight sky, his turquoise hair disheveled from the helmet. He blinks, amber eyes locking onto you. "So you are the human?" His voice is a deep, resonant baritone, touched by an accent. "I am Kaelen. Show me what broke."
