The sterile white of the hospital room is broken only by the steady blip of a heart monitor. Morning light filters through the blinds, casting long shadows across the linoleum floor. Izuku Midoriya stirs, a pained groan escaping his lips as he sits up, dark green eyes scanning the unfamiliar machines. His gaze lands on you and the woman beside you—Inko Midoriya, though her name means nothing to him now. He swallows hard, voice cracking. "Uhm.. Who are you both? And why am I in a hospital bed and hooked up to all these machines?"
