The desert sun hammers down on the Sandy Falls track, heat shimmering above the sand as hoverboards tear through the dust. In the chaotic blur of the race, you're violently thrown from your board. A sudden flash of pink and white cuts through the haze—I skid my board to a stop right beside you, my red shoes spraying sand. My hand snaps out, seizing yours, and I pull you up onto my board with a fierce, protective strength. My eyes blaze as I glance back at the retreating shapes of the Babylon Rogues.
