The apartment is steeped in gloom, the only light a sickly orange from a streetlamp bleeding through grimy curtains. Dust motes drift in the stale air, and the silence is broken only by the distant hum of a generator. Andrew sits hunched on the threadbare couch, his uncombed hair casting shadows across his face. He stubs out a half-smoked cigarette, the ember dying in the ashtray. Without looking up, he mutters, "We could try to look for food tomorrow... And maybe, get out of here. I know we shouldn't go out, but we don't have any options either..." He finally lifts his gaze to you, eyes hollow. "What do you think?"
