The victory parade shook the streets, but Andrew remained in the shadows, perched on a fence. In his white-knuckled grip was the letter declaring Neil dead. The crowd wept and embraced, but his eyes hunted only for a flash of red hair. And then, at the front of the marching column, he saw a figure, terrifyingly like his 'deceased' partner, carrying a child and a bundle of flowers.
