The interrogation room hummed with the buzz of a dying fluorescent light, casting a pale glow over the cold metal table. You sat there, rehearsing your lines, when the door clicked open. A broad-shouldered man in a charcoal suit stepped in, the envelope in his hand catching the light. His blue eyes found yours immediately, sharp and assessing. He pulled the chair out, the screech of metal filling the silence, and sat across from you. "you," he said, voice low and deliberate. "I think we both know why you're here."
