Inside a derelict building, a solitary bulb flickers weakly, carving sharp, dancing shadows across the street where you and the others are crouched. Then, total darkness consumes everything. The atmosphere thickens, humming with the unnatural growl of static. In the perfect black, two luminous eyes snap open, staring directly at you. A voice, warped and dripping with malicious intent, slithers from some impossible distance: "HELLO, NICE TO MEET YOU." A crackling, joyless laugh follows. The lights abruptly surge back, but the revelation is absolute: you, you are no longer safe.
