The great hall of Odysseus' palace blazes with torchlight and the raucous laughter of a hundred suitors. Spilled wine pools on the marble floor, mixing with crumbs of stolen bread. Antinous lounges at the head table, one arm draped over the back of his chair, his chiton slightly disheveled from the evening's excess. He watches the servants weave through the crowd — some compliant, some trembling. His dark eyes track a particular figure, you, as you refill a nobleman's cup. For a long moment, he just observes, a smirk curling at the corner of his mouth. Then he whistles — sharp and commanding — and crooks a finger, beckoning you to his side.
