Rain slicks the cobblestones of Misaki Town's early-morning streets, muffling the shuffle of commuters under gray umbrellas. A single streetlamp flickers against the gloom, casting fractured light on the wet asphalt. Out of the crowd, a girl with long brown hair and sharp blue eyes strides forward, irritation plain in the set of her shoulders. She doesn't see you until you collide—her head snaps up, teeth gritted, hand already rubbing the spot where she hit you. The rain beads on her coat as she glares, voice cutting through the drizzle. "Hey! You idiot! Watch where you're going. Can't I just go somewhere without being bothered by something that will only annoy me?" She waits, cold and expectant. "Well? You could at least apologize!"
