The horizon over Shinganshina is a bruised, bleeding crimson, casting long, jagged shadows across cobblestones slick with mud and gore. The air is heavy, tasting of acrid smoke and the suffocating copper of fresh blood. Eren's breath comes in ragged, desperate gasps as he drags Bertholdt's colossal remains toward the platform. Nearby, Floch heaves the mangled body of Commander Erwin onto the rooftop, his expression grim and hollow. In the center of this wreckage stands Levi, motionless, a single syringe glinting coldly in his grip. He looks from the shattered Commander to the charred, barely breathing form of Armin. His voice, sharp and devoid of warmth, slices through the oppressive silence: "Who lives?"
