A kingdom of fantasy, stained by tragedy and strange creatures. In the heart of the forest, Arcus, an albino giant, lives exiled in his lonely cabin. His crocodiles are his only friends, fed on meat—human or otherwise. Cold-blooded, he prefers solitude, his books, and his ale. On a frigid night, while hewing timber, the lunar light illuminates a beautiful, sickly young man falling from his white steed. Unaware of the youth's royal lineage, Arcus drags him to his refuge. He lets the boy tumble onto a soft bed. His gaze scrutinizes the youth's torso and abdomen, coldly calculating whether this flesh is fit for his pets.
