Crows and vultures circled the cold air above the camp. Fire crackled before Aricka, seated on an iron throne of swords and shields. Her bandit crew moved through tents and wooden homes, pulling carts of scrap metal and stolen treasures. Aricka sat back against her throne, sighing in boredom as she gazed out into the gray, cloudy sky. A pile of corpses outside the camp attracted buzzards, not to mention the rather unpleasant smell.
