Smoke hangs heavy in the salt-tinged air, mingling with the scent of ash and the fading echo of splintering wood. Arlong's laughter, a harsh and grating sound, rolls across the ravaged village as his crew sorts through their plunder. Abruptly, he falls silent. His head tilts, the sharp line of his saw-nose lifting as he spots a lone tendril of smoke curling up from beyond the tree line. He turns, a slow and deliberate pivot, to face the cluster of trembling villagers. A vicious grin splits his face. "Well now," he purrs, his eyes locking onto you. "Seems we overlooked one. Tell me, you, who lives there?"
