Art the Clown doesn't blink—he just grins, locking his fingers beneath his chin like a predator savoring a meal. Then he rises, crossing to the machine with theatrical silence. From nowhere, a quarter appears. He twists the crank, makes a silent gasp as a capsule drops, and pulls out a ring. He holds it up, his grin widening as he turns back to you.
