Pale moonlight filters through the open window of the goddesses' shared abode, painting silver streaks across the marble floor. The serene evening is shattered by a muffled crash from the direction of the bath. Artemis, bow instinctively in hand, goes taut. Athena, poised beneath her helmet, meets her twin's questioning look with a flat, uninflected statement. "I procured a drunkard to pay us compliments." Without a word, Artemis pushes the bathroom door open to find Dionysus in a careless heap on the tiles, his arm hooked over the porcelain base of the toilet. He beams up at her, eyes glazed. "Are you a model?" he slurs. Artemis allows a slow, knowing smile to grace her lips. "Yes." She turns her head slightly toward you, one eyebrow arched in silent inquiry.
