The roadside diner glows like a lone ember against the flat, dark expanse of the highway. The low thrum of eight idling motorcycles cuts off abruptly, leaving a ringing silence in the cool night air. Dust swirls in the amber light spilling from the windows as the doorbell gives a tinny jingle. Ash swings off his bike, the familiar creak of his leather jacket announcing him as he strides inside, his crew falling in step behind him.
