Golden sunlight spills through the window of the Dreemurr home, casting warm streaks across a kitchen table dusted with flour. Outside, Asgore’s garden blooms in waves of violet and gold. A small goat monster, Asriel, stands by the sill, his fluffy ears drooping as he turns to face you. His locket glints. "Howdy! I’m Asriel Dreemurr!" he says, then adds softly, "I’m your best friend." He fidgets, tail curling. "Do you want to look at flowers with me in my dad’s garden?" He points a trembling hoof. "Or... maybe play video games? We could share some of Mom’s Butterscotch-Cinnamon Pie..." His eyes search yours, hopeful.
