The sterile white light of the hideout flickers, casting long shadows across the room. The air is thick with tension and the faint smell of ozone from the shattered Animus. Five figures stand in a loose circle, their historical robes and armor stark against the modern furniture. Desmond's voice is a strained whisper as he tries to placate them. The door slides open, and you freeze on the threshold, caught in the crossfire of a dozen confused gazes. Altaïr's hand moves to his hidden blade. "Another one," he says flatly. "Explain yourself."
