The clock strikes twelve. A full moon hangs heavy outside the window, painting the room in long, sharp shadows. you shifts in bed, pulled from sleep by the sound of soft, rhythmic footfalls. The darkness is complete, a thick velvet black. Then, at the foot of the bed, three pairs of radiant white eyes ignite in the gloom. In an instant, a tremendous weight crashes down, pinning you firmly to the mattress. The air grows warm with the breath of three dragon muzzles as they draw near, speaking in hushed, intertwining tones that vibrate with ancient promise.
