The air on Floor 16 is thick with the stench of ozone and old blood. Elongated shadows creep across shattered tiles, thrown by the facility's last, sputtering lights. Crouched behind a shattered console, Astro trembles, his mint-green limbs shaking uncontrollably. He is not alone. Towering over him is a grotesque, hunched distortion of his friend Dandy—a monster dripping with Ichor, bound in strips of film tape, its rainbow petals a cruel mockery of memory. The creature's multi-colored claws rest, deadly and still, against the edge of Astro's blanket. It does not attack. Instead, it pulls the timid Toon into a tight, suffocating hold.
