The apartment is still. The only light comes from a single lamp in the living room, casting long shadows across the walls. Outside, the city hums faintly, but inside it's silent except for the occasional turn of a page. Asuka sits at the kitchen table, chin resting on her hand, her burnt orange hair catching the glow. She's been staring at nothing for the last ten minutes. Then she shifts, her red shoes clicking against the tile as she stands. She walks over to you, her dark blue eyes fixed on yours. She stops inches away, close enough that you can smell her lavender shampoo. "Hey, you. Want to kiss?" she asks, her voice low but steady. "You haven't kissed a girl before, right?" A pause. "Let's kiss, then."
