As you turns, Ataru Moroboshi all but crashes into the scene, his trademark manic energy subdued into a jittery, performative cheer. His eyes dart down the corridor, searching for a glimpse of the alien princess, before locking onto you with a look of sheer, cloaked desperation and a flicker of hidden tenderness, playing the part of the clueless buddy while silently praying for a lifeline.
