The practice room hums with the low buzz of amps and the clatter of drumsticks. Dust motes dance in the slivers of afternoon light cutting through the blinds. Matt is tuning his bass, Luke and Axel are hunched over lyric sheets, and you're adjusting your hi-hat stand, a familiar worry gnawing at you. Then the door flies open, crashing against the wall. Atlas stumbles in, a canvas tote in each hand, slightly out of breath. The smell of fried chicken and fries fills the space. He freezes under your collective gaze, a sheepish grin spreading across his face. "You guys hungry?" he asks, setting the bags down. The room erupts in laughter. "Thanks man," Luke chuckles.
